Antonio Vivaldi

Antonio Vivaldi was an Italian composer and violinist of the Baroque. Thanks to his exceptional capabilities, the violin virtuoso triggered a broad interest for his concerts in Venice during the first half of the 18th century. His oeuvre includes more than 450 concerts and nearly 50 operas, as well as numerous spiritual and secular vocal works.
